DIY Starbucks Cool Lime Refresher

Hello! For the month of June, I thought it would be fun to do a little weekend series sharing a DIY Starbucks recipe every weekend! To kick things off, I'm sharing one of my favorites for Summer, the Cool Lime Refresher. This is the perfect summer drink with the sweet tangy lime, cucumber and hint of mint! These drinks won't taste exact, since I'm not using any syrups or anything, but I must say they are very good!

 All you will need is:
The juice of 1 lime
1 mini cucumber (about 1/2 cup) peeled and chopped
4-6 finely chopped fresh mint leaves
Water (about 1/3 cup)
Lemonade (around 1 cup)
Sugar (optional)

This recipe serves 1!
It's best to start this drink the night before, or at least 1-2 hours before (overnight is best). Start by adding your cucumber, mint and water into an airtight container and refrigerate.

Squeeze the juice of 1 lime (leave some slices for display) in a cup.

Next, strain your cucumber mixture and fill to the first line of a Starbucks cup. It's about 1/3 cup.

Fill the rest up with your lemonade, add ice and your lime slices & enjoy!

I hope you try this one out! :)

New at the drugstore ~ May/June 2015

I haven't don a "What's new at the drugstore" in quite a while so I figured it was well due. When I went to the drugstore I didn't find a ton of new stuff but I found a fair amount to share. I haven't tried any of this I'm just sharing what's new!

Hard Candy had some new polishes and palettes on display.

Looks like Rimmel has a new mascara with argan oil. I have never tried any Rimmel mascara, but this one looks interesting!

L'Oreals two nude palettes look fun! However they are quite pricey for drugstore!

Covergirl always seems to come out with new foundations. This time lipsticks and a primer came along too!

There is also a new Covergirl mascara claiming 400% volume.. hmm, sounds interesting!

And last but not least, L'Oreal released a new version of the miss manga mascara!

That's about all I found at the drugstore that was new.

Bed Head Extreme Straight Shampoo & Conditioner

Hello there! So I have another review coming your way! This time I'm reviewing the Bed Head shampoo and conditioner I've been using for a little bit now. I picked these up in a set on, clearance at Target before it closed (still sad about that), for a really good deal! I was a little confused as to why the shampoo is noticeably larger than the conditioner. When I first started using it I still had my long hair, so I require nearly twice as much conditioner as shampoo. Now that my hair is shoulder length, I use less conditioner and the sizes worked out. I would prefer if they were just the same size however.
As for the extreme straight claims, I can't say I've noticed much of a difference if any at all. My natural hair isn't curly or straight. it's kind of wavy but not super wavy. When I let my hair air dry, it dries the exact same. I don't really blow dry my hair but maybe that would work better?
The consistency of both is a bit thinner than most which I don't love. But they do smell great and do a fair job. I honestly probably wouldn't repurchase these since they didn't stand out to me at all.

Happy Wednesday! :)
