Current favorite hair products (hair routine)

Hello there!I thought it was time I gave an update on my current favorite hair products. I didn't bother showing shampoo or anything since it's usually fairly similar, so I decided to just share some styling products I love.

First off, if you've seen really any of my hair posts on my blog you'll know I'm obsessed with the Dove dry shampoo. I've tried many dry shampoos and it's the only one that really works for me.

Garnier's Texture Tease is great when I'm looking  for something other than dry shampoo to tease my hair with. it holds the volume really well.

I really love using hair creams on wet hair and Bed Head's Motor Mouth is perfect. it smooths my hair and gives is more texture and volume. It also smells so divine.

Another Garnier product I love is the Root Amp mousse. Great on wet hair when I need a volume boost.

And lastly, Pantene's volume hairspray hold my curls so well!

Hope you're enjoying the first day of Summer!

Top 3 airport essentials (other than the obvious)

This is going to be my last travel-themed post of the month! I figured I'd share my top 3 holy grail items I cannot travel without. These are other than obvious essentials like passport and what not! These items really help the plane ride go a lot more smoothly.

1st: Gum! Gum helps relieve ear pressure a little bit but it also just gives me something to do without really doing anything.

I can't leave without my lotion! My hands get so dry on the plane and just in general and it is the most uncomfortable feeling to me.

Headphones are my third and final must. If I could only do one thing on the plane, it would be listen to music! It really helps pass the time and relax me.

Those are my top 3 airport essentials!

Prepare for Winter

I may be the only one, but where I am it looks like the middle of Winter! I can't say I like it, in fact I really wish it was still fall! I'm not quite ready to hop into Winter/Christmas posts so I thought I'd share some ideas to prepare for Winter.

1. Hydrate! Drink lots of water to hydrate yourself & your skin. You don't want to be dehydrated in the Winter!

2. Hydrate your skin! Stock up on moisturizers! I've already switched to a heavier night cream for my face and I've been applying my favorite Vaseline cocoa butter lotion! my skin gets super dry in the winter and this helps a ton.

3. Get your fix of sweaters & scarves! Sweaters & scarves will be your best friend in the Winter. Layering is perfect in case you get too hot.

4. Get rid of those sandals & tanks! Your winter boots are gonna need a lot of space so clear some by moving your sandals somewhere else. Same goes for your clothes!

5. Darken your look! Play around with darker makeup looks & darker fashion. Add a bit of deep brown to your crease & throw on a navy sweater! This really gets me in the mood for the colder months.

Those are my 5 tips for getting ready for Winter! What are yours?

Perfect party essentials ~ Night out clutch

You always need a clutch or bag on your night out to carry all of your essentials. Whenever I pack my purse, I never know what to put in it. Here are some essentials for going out!

1. FACE POWDER to reduce shine

2. LOTION for dry hands

3. HAIR BRUSH & MIRROR for tangles & touch-ups

3. HAIR TIES for getting it out of your face

4. NAIL FILE for that pesky hang nail

5. PERFUME to smell great all night

6. BOBBY PINS for the fly aways

7. LIP COLOR to touch up

8. STAIN REMOVER for that 1 mishap

If you can fit it, I highly suggest bringing along a minimergency kit! It has everything from a sewing kit to polish remover. Since the little case is too boxy, I usually  just take everything out and slip it into my clutch.

These would work from Prom, parties and even just dinner!

Fall beauty essentials

I always reach for different products as the seasons change and I love sharing them with you! I thought I'd share my Fall beauty essentials of the year! I haven't been wearing too much makeup lately but I still love playing around with it!

1. A good foundation

I love Benefit's Hello Flawless for a fall foundation. I didn't wear much face makeup over the summer but I'm starting to need it again. This wears well and has great coverage!

2. A matte bronzer

Shimmering bronzes are great for summer but I prefer something matte for the fall. Since 've lost all of my color from the summer, I love lightly contouring and bronzing my skin.

3. A darker lipstick

I love playing around with darker lip colors during the fall. I love NYX's tea rose as well as Wet n' Wild's bare it all.

4. A bronze eyeshadow

I the Benefit cream shadow in Birthday Suit. It a super gorgeous bronze shade and it lasts all day!

5. A brown liner

Brown eyeliner are lot less harsh and really go with all of the warm fall colors. This gel liner by elf is the perfect color!

That's about it! Enjoy your day!

Summertime beauty essentials

I feel like I keep coming back to summer themed posts. I've just been so into the season recently and I thought I would post 'em while I can! Today's is on my summer beauty essentials. I usually change my makeup up a bit to fit the hotter months and these are some of the things I use, enjoy!

These are the products I pull out in the summer heat to keep y makeup lasting, and looking good!

I don't go too heavy on face makeup during summertime. I either apply a BB cream with SPF or a light concealer to give a super light, natural coverage. It's a must for me to use a setting powder to keep my skin matte throughout the day. And I like to add a bit of bronzer to keep up with any color my body may get.

For eyes, I like long-wearing products such as this Benefit cream shadow and Too Faced waterproof liner.

I've been mixing a lip balm (with SPF) with the NYX soft matte lip cream in Tokyo for the perfect long-wearing, semi-matte lip product.

That's about it for my summer must haves! Thanks & Bye!
