Las Vegas Food Diary!

As you can probably tell (It's hard to hide) I am borderline obsessed with food. You might have been wondering why there was no food in yesterdays post. That's because I have a devoted this entire post to the food of Las Vegas. I'm not going to lie, the food was what I was most excited for. Boy was I not disappointed. I apologize if some photo quality isn't 100%, I had to take some on my phone. The food in Vegas is unbelievable. See for yourself and try not to drool!

I had slightly heard about Shake Shack so we decided to try it out. It was so amazing, probably one of the best burgers I've ever had (as good or better than Hodad's in San Diego).

I opted for the Shack Burger with crinkle cut fries and a black and white shake!

Everyone was telling me go to Serendipity 3 so I tried it out! Everything was huge!

We ordered the frozen hot chocolate and the Forbidden Broadway Sundae. They were both amazing! We nearly finished the frozen hot chocolate but the 3 of us couldn't even get through half of the sundae!

The sundae had a whole piece of cake in it!

Of course we had to hit up In-n-out which was the busiest I've ever seen it.

Cheeseburger, fries, and strawberry shake for me!

The Aria Buffet was definitely up there in the best food of the trip. I got quite an assortment and I'm not ashamed to say this is not all of the food I ending up trying. My favorites were the fried rice, provolone sticks, cheesecake and pot roast!

One day we tried The Roasted Bean @ the Aria for breakfast. I got a caramel blending coffee with a cheese danish. The small blended coffee was huge and I couldn't quite finish but the danish was amazing!

Here's a few more miscellaneous things. Panera Bread, Banana Foster crepe from Jean Phillipe, desserts from the Mirage Buffet (not as good as Aria), Rita's italian ice, and a Deluxe Grilled Cheese fro Zoozacrackers Deli at the Wynn .

Mini chocolate cheesecake from Jean Phillipe, A chicken sandwich I had at the airport, some frozen drink by the pool, more desserts from Jean Phillipe, and the World's largest chocolate fountain at Bellagio I believe.

Amazing nachos from Yard House, The Batista's menu (too dark for other photos) I had chicken parm and it was amazing! Caribbean Passion Jamba Juice, Sprinkles cupcakes (never went) and a McDonald's happy meal (I was desperate).

I also picked up some food for the hotel room! That mint limeade from Whole foods was so delicious!

Here's a list of all the places we ate at:

Starbucks
Capriotti's
Aria Cafe
Yard House
Chipotle
Serendipity 3
Zoozacrackers
The Buffet @ Aria
McDonald's
The Roasted Bean
Batista's
Jamba Juice
Shake Shack
Panera Bread
Cravings (Mirage Buffet)
In-n-out
Javier's (Aria)
Jean Phillipe

As you can probably tell, I definitely ditched my diet for the trip. I have no regrets, you really need to treat yourself! Well that was an experience! What looked the best to you?

How to have the best vacation ever!

For some of us, vacations only happen once in a while. So when they do, it's better to really enjoy them! Here are a few little tips to make your vacation go super smoothly!

Ditch your high expectations and make realistic ones.
Don't create drastic expectations for your trip that will most likely disappoint you. Travel with an open mind and realistic expectations.

Do some planning and research on your location.
Don't travel with no info on your destination. Do a bit of planning on things you might want to do so you aren't stuck with no ideas while you're there.

Stay calm.
Don't let things bother you, go with the flow and stay calm!

Be spontaneous.
When opportunities arise, take advantage! Be spontaneous, you'll enjoy yourself!

Take lots of pictures.
Take pictures to relive your paradise when you get home.

Don't let negative occurrences ruin your whole trip.
Staying calm and happy will help your mood a lot and allow you to still enjoy yourself!

Enjoy yourself!
This is probably the most important and self-explanatory!

Enjoy your vacation!

Top 3 airport essentials (other than the obvious)

This is going to be my last travel-themed post of the month! I figured I'd share my top 3 holy grail items I cannot travel without. These are other than obvious essentials like passport and what not! These items really help the plane ride go a lot more smoothly.

1st: Gum! Gum helps relieve ear pressure a little bit but it also just gives me something to do without really doing anything.

I can't leave without my lotion! My hands get so dry on the plane and just in general and it is the most uncomfortable feeling to me.

Headphones are my third and final must. If I could only do one thing on the plane, it would be listen to music! It really helps pass the time and relax me.

Those are my top 3 airport essentials!

What's in my carry-on

So as I said, I recently traveled (which I love) and I wanted to share what I brought in my carry-on bag. I didn't get a picture of the actual bag so here is link to the same bag in a different color.

First I need my iPad. I had a lot of fun taking time lapses of the take-off and landings! Along with that I brought my charger and my headphones. All of my music was on my phone which I brought as well!

Of course I had to bring snacks. I had lots more but I ate a lot of it already. Gum is a must and cough drops too since I was sick on my trip, sadly.

I always like bringing a journal to document my trip. I need my wallet of course. A pen for my journal, some sunnies and lip balm too (super essential)!

I really needed tissues (since I was sick). Lotion is a must for the dry plane atmosphere. Hand sanitizer too since planes can be full of germs. I brought blotting papers but never ended up using them. I did use my scrunchie and mini hair brush however!

Lastly, I brought a light hoodie which was great since the plane was FREEZING!

That's all that's in my carry-on, what's in yours!

Travel with me: Niagara Falls

So for the past 5 days (Wednesday to Sunday) I was in Niagara Falls, ON! I have some family there so I went over for a little trip! I am absolutely in love with the city and I am always happy to go back. Everything about the place makes me happy. I thought I'd document this trip since I probably won't be back for a while. I've been there numerous times and each time I am just as stunned! Enjoy these photos!

Breakfast on the plane! It was surprisingly very good!

I always come prepared with snacks and I love doing my makeup on the plane ride there.

All of the nature was absolutely beautiful. Flowers were in bloom and everything was so green!

The entire park by the falls is gorgeous. It is such a nice place to walk around.

The falls never cease to amaze me.

Niagara Falls always has the best bakeries and pastries!

 coming home

That's pretty much my trip. I'm really going to miss the place but I'm glad I got the opportunity to return!
