Blogmas 2014: Day 22 ~ Mani Monday

I didn't paint my nails last week, so I was super excited to do them this week. Since Christmas is this week, I had to paint my nails with some Christmas love. I cut my nails a bit too short by accident however I'm still really happy with how they turned out, so enjoy!

For the main color, I used a new OPI polish I got called OPI Red. It's the perfect classic red color and I fell in love. it's fairly opaque but I did 2 coast just in case. If you can tell, there's actually a little bit of a shimmery undertone to the color which I'm obsessed with!

For my accent nails, I used China Glaze's Ring in the Red. It goes perfectly with the OPI red and it's the perfect Christmas look!

I hope you enjoyed today's Mani Monday!

Nails of the Day! China Glaze "Charmed I'm Sure"

Hello there!
Today I finally have another Nails of the Day!
I feel like I haven't done one of these in so long, so I thought it was about time. Today I'm wearing a deep purple polish called Charmed I'm Sure. I received this as a late Christmas present and this is actually my first time wearing it. In natural lighting it looks a little lighter, but in artificial light, it looks super dark!

This is 2 coats. The formula is really creamy and nice, always what I expect from Chins Glaze!
Hope you enjoyed & thanks for reading!
xx,
Ella

Blogmas 2013: Day 23! Mani Monday

Here's my last Mani Monday before Christmas!
This is my absolute favorite nail polish of all time. I only take the time to use it once or twice a year because it's impossible to get off but it's one of the prettiest reds.
This polish is in the shade velvet bow and as you can tell I had a little trouble making it look good. The brush was really small and I couldn't get a perfect, straight line around the cuticle.
I used this Seche Vite top coat for a beautiful gel-like shine. It really makes it look like a gel polish and it drys fast too! I could not get a perfect picture of my nails so I apologize for the quality, but that's it.
See you tomorrow on Christmas Eve!
Bye! =)

Blogmas 2013: Day 19! Winter Nail Polish Favorites

I'm finally putting up my winter nail polish faves! I did this for fall, so I thought I would try it again for winter!
When I think of winter colors, I think of deep reds, purples, blues and other cool-ish tones. I have 6 polish that I absolutely love and plan to wear a ton this season. I've already used a few of these in my Mani Mondays, which you cans check out under the nails section of my blog!
I've got 3 China Glaze colors (all from the Meet Me Under the Mistletoe collection), 2 Sinful Colors, and 1 Essie polish!
I think all of these colors are super festive and great for the winter-time! China Glaze cost around $7, Sinful Colors about $2, and Essie polishes cost about $9.
I hope this gave you some nail-spiration ;) , see you tomorrow!
Bye! =)

Blogmas 2013: Day 2! Mani Monday

I feel like I haven't posted a Mani Monday in so long!
I`ve been getting into holiday colors recently and today I chose a sparkly green by China Glaze.
I find myself coming back to this polish every year around this time. it`s so festive without being too bright. It has the perfect amount of glitter in it and I love that it`s not too chunky!
The color of it looks a bit darker in the bottle but when on your nails it really shows up.
After one coat it doesn't loom so good, but after two, it looks amazing and opaque.
The name is Glittering Garland and it`s from a China Glaze Christmas set called Meet Me Under the Mistletoe, which I purchase a year or two ago.
A little bit of a shorter post for today, but come back tomorrow for Blogmas day 3!
Bye! =)
