JUNE Favorites!

June was an extremely busy month for me and I am so happy tomorrow is finally July! I'm hoping to really up my blog game this Summer since I haven't been giving it the attention it needs. Here are my favorites of the month. I don't have a ton but I still anted to share them! Also some of them are most likely repeats from previous months, but that just means I really love 'em!

The Soap & Glory Sugar Crush Body Butter cream smells just like lemon lime soda! It is so amazing and super moisturizing.
I went back to using MAC's 187 to apply my liquid foundation and it gave me a really flawless, smooth finish.
I found two new great mascaras with the same color tubes! Too Faced's Better Than Sex and Maybelline's Lash Sensation. Both give TONS of volume!
I went back to simple brows by jsut using Maybelline's brow drama for a quick fix.
And lastly, I used essence's felt liner to perfect my winger liner of the month!

That's it, see you in July!

May favorites

I didn't end up doping an empties post this month since I didn't have too many products to share. I figured I'd just do a larger one for June! I do however, have quite a few favorites to share for this month. After shopping and my birthday in April I had lots of new goodies to try out! Here are my faves of May!

My new Tiffany&Co. ring was on my finger nearly everyday of the month! It's so simple and easy to wear with anything. These earrings my friend got me for my birthday are another great staple and they're so cute!

These chocolates have been quite dangerous for me lately. I got a HUGE bag of them at Costco.

This peach/apricot perfume I got at a hair show smells so good, I've worn it nearly everyday! This little angled brush from Forever 21 has been my brow savior of the month. And this lip liner (also from the hair show) has been my go to, slightly Kylie Jenner, lip option for the month.

Another piece from the hair show, this brow kit! It has the perfect shade for my brows.
This OPI polish in "This Silver's Mine!" was a little more than just a neutral shade. And this Tarte Lights Camera Flashes mascara gave me the perfect lash volume this month!

Two forgotten favorites were this body butter and these oracle cards. This Soap & Glory body butter smell divine and these cards are so interesting to look at daily.

Those are all of my monthly faves!

March Favorites ~ 2015

I have been using the same products for a while now leaving me with only 5 favorites for the month. Hopefully April will be a more exciting month and I look forward to it! As I've already said, March has been really busy for me but it's been a nice change. I was trying to keep my makeup more simple and challenging myself to complete it in under 15 minutes. If I'm given the time, I can spend over half an hour on my makeup so I've tried to cut down. here are some of my favorites of the month!

The First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer has been a life saver lately. It soaks into my skin so fast which gives me more time to move on with my makeup. It's also very lightweight and moisturizing.

The Tarte Smooth Operator powder was actually in my last favorite but I had to add it again! It just makes my skin so soft and matte & it lasts for ever!

The Flower BB Cream was also in last months favorites. I've just been using it a lot since it gives great coverage for a BB cream.

Essie's nail polish in Under Wear was definitely my favorite of the month. It was the perfect spring shade.

I needed a new mascara so I went back to the Great Lash Lots of Lashes and I loved it! It give sgreat length and volume.

Those are my few favorites of the month, I hope you enjoyed!

February Favorites ~ 2015

2nd post of the day! I was thinking back on all of the products I've been using this month and I couldn't find too many new ones. For the most part, I've been sticking to the same products for a while now. I did manage to find a few products that are recent loves. I've been on a major spending ban which is the reason I haven't been trying new products.

Herbal Essences Hydra-Licious Shampoo
This shampoo smells so amazing! It lathers really well and is less than $4!

Freeman Anti-Stress Mask
This mask is so relaxing. It looks a a little crazy on but it feels so good. My skin feels super soft afterwards.

Neutrogena Deep Clean Cleanser
This is my new favorite facial cleanser. It makes my face feel so refreshed and clean.

Elf Neutral Palette
I've been going back to my very first brow routine! The light matte brown in this palette is the perfect shade for filling in my eyebrows.

Nivea Raspberry Rose Lip Butter
This lip butter smells divine and is so moisturizing!

Flower Beauty BB Cream
I'm so happy my Mom let me try this out since she didn't like it. For a BB cram, it has really great coverage and it's really thick.

Tarte Smooth Operator
I have been loving using this powder under my eyes. It makes my skin look so flawless and airbrushed!

Only 7 favorites for this month!

January favorites ~ 2015

January is always a fun month for favorites with all of the Christmas goodies everyone's been trying out. I don't have an abundance of favorites, but I still have a few more than most months. I used these few products fairly consistently throughout the month. January was a fairly good month for me. I had a few busy patches as well as quite a bit of time off. I got back on track with healthy eating and working out and now it's a habit! Overall, I'd say January was a pretty good start to 2015.

Tarte Eyeshadow palette
I had a lot of fun with creating matte eye looks throughout the month. I usually prefer shimmer shades however this palette changed my mind. My most used shades were the second two shadows in the first row (Moulin Rouge, I think Cannes) As well as the 3rd shade in the second row (Eiffel for you).

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face Moisturizer
This moisturizer is great for applying under makeup since it absorbs so fast. I loved it!

Tarte Lights Camera Lashes
This mascara was different from anything I'd ever tried. It gave a very unique volume as well as adding a ton of length!

Maybelline The Falsies Flared
This mascara is my new favorite from the drugstore! It makes my lashes HUGE!

Tarte Lip Surgence Lip Gloss
This gloss not only smells great, it's also a beautiful pink neutral shade.

Smashbox Photo Finish Face Primer

I don't usually use a primer but now I can't go without one! This keeps my makeup look fresh all day long.

OPI Polish Haven't The Foggiest
This polish was such a unique metallic with a great formula.

OPI Polish Tickle My Francey
This is my new favorite neutral polish, it's perfect!

Repetto
I'm not usually a fan of perfume-y scents but I loved this!

Marc Jacobs Daisy
I'm glad I finally got to try this scent, it's amazing!

That wraps up my favorites for the 1st month of 2015!

Best of 2014! (Beauty, Books, Music & More!)

I did a post like this last year, rounding up all of my favorites of the year. I thought I'd bring that back since I had so much fun with it last year. I had a lot of fun coming up with categories and taking the photos. I'm sure you'll recognize many of these from my favorites posts throughout the year! I hope enjoy a little review of my 2014!

BEAUTY

The NAKED 2 Palette
This was definitely at the top of my list! I received it as a birthday gift in April and have used it religiously ever since!

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara
I discovered this at the beginning of 2014 in a sample set I received for Christmas 2013! I used the voucher from the set to get the full size and I've just recently run out. :(

Maybelline FIT Me concealer
I am so happy I satumbled upon this concealer. It's so afforable ($6) and great for under the eyes.

Maybelline Brow Drama
This was a recent find for me, but I can already tell it's a favorite! It cuts my brow routine in half and I use it everyday that I wear makeup.

Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer
I cannot describe this to do it justice. I had heard great reviews before buying it, but when I tried it, I was shocked at how great it was! I'm not usually one for bronzer, but this changed my mind.

Covergirl 3 in 1 Foundation
This foundation has great coverage and wearing power. I love it way more than my Benefit Hello Flawless Foundation.

E.l.f. Coffee Cream Eyeliner
I found myself using this a ton this year. It's a great neutral liner that looks less harsh than black. It's also very creamy.

NAILS

Sally Hansen Breezy Blue
This blue matches with any outfit and any season! It's also my fave color!

Essie Go Ginza
This is the perfect pale purple polish. It's super opaque and long-wearing.

HAIR

Dove Dry Shampoo
I must have repurchased this about 10 times in the past year! I love it and it's the only dry shampoo I've found that works for me.

Scrunchies
Scrunchies! I'm so happy these are back in style since they are so comfy to wear and don't damage your hair! (just a little rhyme for you;)

PERFUME

 Victoria's Secret Passion Struck
My perfume of the year has to go to Passion Struck by Victoria's Secret. I can (and do) wear this everyday!

FASHION

 Forever 21 Green Flannel
I have worn the green plaid shirt in the left photo so often! It's a great color & it's so soft.

Forever 21 Grey V-Neck
This is just a basic grey tee but it fits so nicely. It goes with basically anything too.

TOMS black
My black TOMs are so versatile and comfortable to wear!

H&M Light Wash Jeans
I have gotten so much wear out of these jeans (top right). They are quite unique and they fit great!

Red Knit Circle Scarf
I have no idea where I got this, but I love it!

OTHER

Kirkland Makeup Wipes
I have mentioned this endless times. They are so inexpensive and I use them daily.

Lush Tea Tree Water
This is my holy grail skin product, I can't live without it!

 Secret Paris Deodorant
This smells good and actually lasts all day!

Etsy "e" Necklace
This is the perfect necklace and exactly what I wanted!

Real Techniques Powder Brush
I love this brush for bronzer, it makes blending effortless.

  BOOKS

The Fault in Our Stars
I received this for Christmas in 2013 and loved reading it!
Divergent
I wasn't reading much in 2014 so I re-read Divergent. it's definitely my favorite book!

 MUSIC

1989 Album: Taylor Swift
Stolen Dance: Milky Chance
 Love on Top: Beyonce
Riptide: Vance Joy
I'm Not the Only One: Sam Smith
Thinking Out Loud: Ed Sheeran
Uptown Funk: Bruno Mars
Stay With Me: Sam Smith
 MOVIES

Divergent
I was so excited when this came out and since then I've seen it over 5 times! Some parts are cheesy but I still enjoy it.

The Fault in Our Stars
I'll admit, the book was way better, but I enjoyed the movie too.

22 Jump Street
These movies are a bit silly but they do make me laugh!
And those are all of my favorites for the year 2014!
(I had a lot of issues with the text size so I apologize for it being all over the place!)

Blogmas 2014: Day 30 ~ December Favorites

It's the last favorites post of the year! This month, I wasn't buying a lot for myself, with all of the Christmas shopping I was doing. Therefore, my favorites are slightly limited this month. I didn't try many new products but I did switch up a few of my products. Might I mention, I did take these photos outside since I have so much trouble with lighting in the Winter! I'm really happy with how the turned out however it's very cold and snowy outside. Maybe the lighting it worth it, we'll see. ;) Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

I've always seen the Tresemme hairspray but I've never tried it. My curls having been holding very well lately so I tried using this. I sprayed quite a bit, I mean I sprayed a ton! This made my curls hold all day and even into the next day! I will definitely continue to use this. I believe it's the Tres Two extra hold hairspray, not quite sure.

I was obsessed with the Vanilla Bean Noel Ultra Shea Body Cream from bath & Body Works this month! (That's a long name..) Too be honest, the lotion doesn't work very wall. It lasts barely 5 minutes and I find myself reapplying every hour. I purely use it for the scent! It smells so amazing this is my favorite scent from BBW.

Hair creams are my favorite products to apply to wet hair. I feel like it distributes easier than spray and I can notice it working. I found this Garnier Fructis Leave in Conditioner Cream on sale for $3 and picked it up. I've used it ever since and I really like it! It's very smooth and makes my hair feel silky.

The OPI nail polish in OPI Red is the PERFECT red polish! It had the very slightest metallic-y undertone but it's hardly noticeable on the nails. It goes on smoothly and looks so nice on the nails. I think I've found the perfect red polish!

I went back to the L'Oreal Voluminous mascara since I noticed my lashes looking a little "un-volumized". This brought some life back to my lashes. I definitely got a ton of use out of it this month.

My skin has been paler than ever this Winter. I was wanting a bit more color so I brought my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer back out. This is great for contouring or just bronzing the face & I love it!

Lastly, I've been loving the Nivea Lip Butter in Raspberry Rose. It smells divine and lasts a really long time! it's also extremely moisturizing.

Those are all of my favorites for the month. My next favorite will be next year! ;)

November 2014 favorites & announcement!

I simply cannot believe today is the last day of November. I say this every year but I truly feel like this year sped by. Anyways with tomorrow being December and all I'd like to announce something pretty exciting! I will be doing Blogmas again this year! Last year I did Blogmas and posted every day of December (I missed Christmas day, oops!). I had so much fun with it that I knew I wanted to do it again! I believe Blogmas is more of just a blog post a day till Christmas but I like to go all the way to the end of the month. I don't see many people doing it, but I find it great motivation to post more. I'm going to try my hardest to get a post up every day for you and I've got some super exciting posts in mind! Feel free to check out my Blogmas posts from last year! A lot has changed since then!

Anyways, on with my favorites!

Garnier Fructis Texture Tease
This was a new hair product I tried this month. It works really well for teasing my hair on days I don't want to use dry shampoo.

Lush Tea Tree Water
I've mentioned this several times this month since I ran out. I realized how much I loved it!

L'Oreal Collection PRIVEE Doutzen's Nude polish
The polish is the perfect mauve nude shade and it lasted and insane amount of time considering my nails usually chip in 1 day!

Maybelline Brow Drama
I fell in love with this product! It makes my mornings so much easier.

Elf cream eyeliner (coffee)
This eyeliner looks great with my brown eyes and it's not too harsh which I love!

NYX gloss (LA LA)
This shade of pink is gorgeous and goes great with neutral eyes! NYX glosses smell great too!

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara
ugh! So sad to say I'm nearly out of this. It's a bit to pricey to repurchased but I may have to splurge.

Prestige Soft Blend Khol Eyeliner (Lagoon)
I've mentioned this a lot too! it's a beautiful teal shade and lasts a long time too.

Castor Oil
OOOH this product is nice! It made my lashes noticeably longer within a week! I've got a post on it coming up soon ;)

I realize I had already talked about most of these products already but why not mention them again!

I went back to my favorite book series ever to refresh my memory a bit! I must say I fell in love again and am unhealthily excited for the Insurgent movie. I may have watched Divergent once. or twice. who's really counting...

Those are all of my favorites for the month! See you tomorrow for Blogmas!

October favorites 2014

I meant to get this up last night, however it slipped my mind to pre-schedule the post! Better late than never! Recently I haven't been using too many new products but I did switch up my makeup slightly throughout the month.

First off, I've been using the NYX Boheme Chic palette and creating some different matte looks. I reviewed this palette a while back and mentioned the pigmentation isn't great. I still made it work though by building up the shadows a bit more. I mostly gravitated towards the grey, darker browns and the lighter shades.

After shaving my legs, I love apply this coconut body butter all over them. it makes them so smooth and it smells great! I'm nearly done this so you'll probably be seeing this in my November empties!

I've had these imPRESS nails on for the past week and all but 2 nails have lasted those whole 6 days! I got many questions on if they were gel nails!

I love the packaging on this lip gloss! It's such a pretty color and I just started using it this month!

I've been using the Versace bright crystal perfume a lot lately. It's less of a Summer-y scent which is the majority of what I have.

I found one of my new favorite products in October! Maybelline's Brow Drama is perfect for when I'm running late.

I have a love/hate relationship with my lashes! They're very stubborn and difficult to build up volume. I really like Lancome's Hypnose Drama mascara because it's very easy for me to use!

A couple of Halloween favorites of mine were the Wet n Wild Stoplight red lipstick and liquid lipstick! These are great for creating fake wounds!

Those are all of my favorites for the month of October!

September favorites! ~ 2014

Hello there! September definitely flew by! September was a fairly good month for me. I enjoyed the transition into Fall from Summer. I have a few favorites this month, and am very excited to show you!

For beauty, I tried a couple of new products this month!
I tried the Fit me powder by Maybelline and I really like it. Nothing ever lasts all day for me, but I noticed this lasted a bit longer than my previous Rimmel Stay Matte.
Last month I manged to get my hands on another ELF brow gel and it's my favorite brow gel! It keeps my shape all day and is just amazing. it's only $1 but I can only find it in the US. :(
Lancome's Hypnose Drama mascara has a lot of volume and blackness. It works well and isn't too difficult to remove.
I just started using the Benefit Hello Flawless oxygen Wow foundation and I like it! it lasts fairly long and looks flawless!
There's a couple of shades form the NAKED 2 palette that I've been using ALL month!

I've been using FOXY all over the lid, inner corner & brow bone with a touch of TEASE in the crease. It gives the perfect neutral matte eye-look, I love it!

After I shave my legs, I like to apple the Delon+ coconut body butter. It smells so good and leaves my legs feeling silky smooth. I get really dry skin in the Fall & Winter so this really helps.
I've been switching between detangler and this Rusk brilliance leave in conditioner. It smells nice and detangler my hair while adding moisture!
And lastly, I started using my ghd straightener again this month. It takes a while to straighten but the result is worth it! It also does nice flat iron curls!

Those are all of my favorites for the month! I hope you enjoyed! :)

July favorites 2014

I must say, I'm pretty sad that July is ending and Summer is half done. I really enjoyed my July for the most part and even had the chance to try some new products. Here are the products I've been loving and using in July!

The Not your mother's detangler works super well especially with chlorine in your hair after the pool!
Pacifica's Indian coconut nectar roller ball smells divine and is a great, light summer scent.
I wore Sally Hansen's Breezy Blue for the majority of the month and it's a great summer color!
Nivea's mattifying day cream has added spf while keeping me matte!

I've been wearing little makeup lately so I don't have to much. The L'Oreal voluminous mascara can double as a light or dramatic lash look.
The elf eyebrow kit is amazing for bold or natural brows!
I'm obsessed with the UD primer potion and the NYX gloss is LA LA is an amazing bright coral!
That's it, sorry for the quickie today! My computer is giving me trouble so sorry if the layout is all over the place.
Enjoy the last bit of July! :)
