My morning routine (Weekdays)

A while back, I actually did a Morning/Night Routine but I thought I'd do another morning routine that's more in depth. My morning routine still isn't extravagant but I thought it's worth sharing. I usually wake up around 7 am, leaving me with about an hour to get ready. I really enjoy relaxing a bit in the morning so I like to take my time. I'm sure I could get ready in 30 minutes but I enjoy the extra time.

So starting around 6:55/7:00 am, I wake up and hop out of bed. During weekdays, I don't have time to play around on my phone.

First thing I do is put my makeup on. It wakes me up and makes me feel good. This is when I usually watch some youtube videos.
My current favorite products are: First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Face moisturizer,  Smashbox Photo Finish Primer, Flower Beauty BB Cream, Maybelline FIT Me Concealer, Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer, Tarte Smooth Operator Powder, Rimmel Stay Matte Powder, E.l.f. Eyebrow Kit, E.l.f. Brow Gel, Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes, Nivea Lip Butter Blueberry.

Then I either dig through my closet to find an outfit or toss on the outfit I set out the night before.

After that I usually fix up my hair a bit. If I had it in a braid overnight, I'll tease is a bit and fix up a few pieces. If not, I'll straighten it and tease it too.

After hair I'll head downstairs for some breakfast. I usually just have some oatmeal, but if I have a little extra time I like to make something like these healthy blueberry pancakes.

Of course, I've gotta brush my teeth!

Finally I'll spray some perfume. Lately (As in the past year and a half), I've been using Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck Enchanted or Victoria's Secret passion Struck.

And finally, if I have a little extra time, I like to surf Pinterest, Instagram and other social medias.
I then pack my purse, and head out!

Blogmas 2014: Day 16 ~ Holiday makeup

With Christmas quickly approaching, there are many special occasion coming up as well. I put together a look that would be perfect for any holiday party or dinner. I went for a bit of a less dramatic eye look and less classic lip color. Feel free to switch anything out for your own preference.

I didn't get good photos of applying my eye makeup so here's the application of face makeup. This makeup look is a fairly natural eye look with a bold fuchsia lip.

The lighting is extremely difficult to work with during the Winter so I couldn't easily get a good photo of the makeup I used. I apologize for the quality of the above photo.

To be honest I thought the lip color would be a lot darker than it turned out, however I still like the result!

My Everyday Makeup Routine from Spring to Summer!

I had originally planned on posting a Mani Monday attached to this post, but I didn't get the chance to paint my nails yesterday so I guess it's just this! I haven't posted a makeup routine lately so I thought I'd get another one up. This is basically what I've been doing recently. I don't always use the same eyeshadows but I'll share my favorites. I hope you enjoy!

I haven't been wearing foundation because my skin has been pretty good lately, knock on wood!
I've been using the Maybelline Fit Me concealer under my eyes and on any redness, then the Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer on any blemishes or acne. I set it all with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.

I've been using the Physicians Formula Nude Wear Blush that I got for my Birthday. I love it because it's very natural and sheer.

For eyeshadow, I've been using the NAKED 2 palette, which I also got for my birthday. I change it up often but on this day I wore Foxy on the brow bone and inner corner, Booty Call all over the lid, Verve on the outer corner, and Pistol in the crease.

I love using felt tip eyeliner and my favorite one is the Maybelline Master Precise. I also line my tight line with the elf black eyeliner. I've also been in love with the Lancôme HYPNÔSE DRAMA mascara it's amazing!

I lightly fill in my brows with the NYC pencil is Dark Brown.

And for lips, the Rimmel Apocalips in Phenomenon has been my go to!
