Revlon Lip Gloss ~ Super Natural

A while back, I found a box of tampons with a free lip gloss in it! I thought it was a great deal, since it made buying tampons just a little more exciting. I recently found another box just like it and chose a different shade of gloss. I've already reviewed the first one here, so I thought I'd share my thoughts on this shade as well. I have found this deal at Walmart and other grocery stores, so I would definitely recommend hitting up the feminine hygiene section to try and score a free gloss! ;)

I definitely prefer this shade to the last. I found it a lot more wearable and I find myself reaching for it more often. I really enjoy the texture of these Revlon glosses. They are so smooth that they don't feel like a balm, but they are also hardly sticky (I can't stand sticky lip gloss).

The color payoff was perfect. It gave a nice sheer nude tint and a glossy sheen to my lips. It didn't look too over the top, in fact it looked effortlessly put together!

I really loved this gloss and it was perfect for everyday wear! I would definitely love to try some more shades.

RATINGS

Lasting power: 7/10
Color payoff: 8/10
Texture & wear: 9/10
Price: 9/10
Would I repurchase?: I'd be open to trying more shades.
Would I recommend?: Yeah, if you're looking for an affordable, non-sticky gloss.
Overall: 8.5/10

That's all for this review, I'll see you in my next post!

Revlon Lip Butter ~ Creme Brulee

I've actually had this lip product for quite some time now. I think I pretty much forgot about reviewing it, but here I am now! I had always wanted to try Revlon lip butters while they were trending but I never got a around to it. Fairly recently(ish), I had a $2 off coupon of Revlon lip products making this a score at $3! I had my eye on a few other shades but finally decided on the classic nude (Creme Brulee).

Of course, I managed to clip off a nice chunk of the smooth top. This balm wasn't quite as moisturizing as I expected. Other tinted balms from different brands I've used have had the moisture of a regular lip balm. Don't get me wrong, this was more moisturizing than a lipstick but I feel like it could have been a bit more.

The color was nice. It wasn't too over the top but it also wasn't completely unnoticeable. This would be perfect for a natural, neutral look. There is also a hint of shimmer in it which draws a lot of light to your lips.

For lasting power, this wasn't the best. It lasted maybe an hour, that's even pushing it. I did really expect it to last vast amounts of time, but it would be nice to not have to apply every 30 minutes.

 OVERALL:

Color: 8/10
Lasting Power: 5/10
Moisture: 7/10
Price: 9/10
Would I repurchase?: Possibly
Would I recommend?: It depends
Overall: 7/10

I've had lip products I like better but I've also had some I didn't like quite as much.

Revlon Super Lustrous Lip Gloss ~ Pink Pop

So yet again, I'm getting up a (late) short blog post! I am very sorry and I'm sure October will be a much more reliable month. September is always busy and with me being sick this weekend, I got behind a bit. Anyways, I actually got this lip gloss free with a box of tampons! Kind of funny but it was a sweet deal!

It's in the shade Pink Pop and it's your classic hot pink. I had the choice between this and a nude gloss but I don't actually have anything like this!

I don't have any Revlon glosses so this was my first try. It wasn't sticky which I LOVE! It wasn't moisturizing but it wasn't sticky so I'll take it! It was fairly sheer but colorful at the same time. it gave quite the pink pop without being a full color lip product.

That's all! I hope I can keep up with my posts for the future!
Bye, now :)

Revlon Colorstay Aqua Mineral Makeup ~ First Impression

My friend actually gave this powder to me as she had 2 of them. She got some gift bag set from the drugstore and it had 2 of these inside. She said she didn't like it so she gave me one to try! It's a very unique product and something I would never pick up on my own.

I do like the packaging even though it is a bit bulky. It comes with its own little brush which slides out and clicks into place.

The brush is surprisingly soft as most free brushes are rough. It's not the typical brush I would use for powder but it does its job.

This was actually the first loose face powder I've ever tried. It's a bit messy but fairly easy to contain if you're careful. When you apply it, it almost feels as if you've just wet your brush. it gives a cooling sensation that doesn't last. it's very shear and has little to no coverage. There are shimmery particles throughout the powder which add a glowy dimension to it. I have oily skin so that doesn't really help. I found it doesn't last very long. After an hour or two and notice oiliness peeking through the powder. This didn't work out for me but it could be alright as an under-eye setting powder.

 Lasting power: 6/10
Coverage: 5/10
Price: I've been looking online and seeing prices from $5 to $16! If not on sale, this stuff's pricey! 5/10
Packaging: 7.5/10 Brush is a plus, too much product comes out though.
Blendability: 7/10
Mattifying: 6/10
Would I repurchase?: nope
Would I recommend?: maybe if you have dry skin!
Overall: 6/10 just not for me :)

There's just too much shimmer and it lays on top of your skin with no coverage. It's not for me but everyone's different!
I am thankful for receiving this from a friend and will continue to try to make it work. That's about it!
Bye :)

Revlon Photoready Palette ~ Review

Hello!
I've been reviewing some of the Birthday gifts I received (and loving them!), lately and I've got another one today! A friend gifted me this Revlon eyeshadow palette (along with a few other things) and I've been loving it since! It has a perfect range of neutrals and it's great!

Each shadow has a different purpose which is very unique. The bottom two are a primer and a glitter top coast. The top three are a base, crease, and brow bone color.
The shade of the palette is "Impressionist"

The primer, base, and crease colors are the most pigmented of them all. The glitter top coat is a little chalky but it adds a nice sparkle and the brow bone color is just a bit sheer.
These colors blend very easily. The aren't the most pigmented I've tried but they do create very nice looks. They're great shades for everyday wear and they look very natural. They are all shimmery which I love!

OVERALL:

Pigmentation: 7/10
Price: N/A
Blend-ability: 9/10
Lasting power: They stay well with primer but crease throughout the day w/o it.
Would I repurchase?: Yes in different colors!
Would I recommend?: For sure, especially for beginners!

I'm very thankful for receiving this and I've already put it to great use!
Thanks for reading, bye!
