Simple summer

I am super excited about this post! This is the first part of my summer fashion series! I'm planning on doing a few different fashion posts throughout the summer and I can't wait. Today's is focused on simple and casual outfits intended for summer. I hope you enjoy, this is a step out of the box for me and something I'll have to get used to. I chose 4 outfits for today, I hope you enjoy!

Purple & floral

My bold print, flowy, floral shorts are actually from Aeropostale! They caught my eye in the window and they were also only $10! They are so comfortable too.

My purple tee is from GAP. It was also on a great sale for $6! It's also super comfortable and a great basic for printed bottoms.

Perfectly prepared

This outfit is perfect for the evenings or a cooler day. I've tied a sweater around my waist that I can throw on over top if I get cold. My plain white tee if actually just from Walmart! My black midi shorts are from American Eagle and my sweater is from Urban Outfitters!

My bracelet is from Brandy Melville.

Distressed with scallop

My pale pink cropped top is from Winners and I love this scalloped design at the hem.

My high-waisted, distressed denim shorts are from Garage.

It's super easy to accessorize and really cute too.

Pocket plain

This last one is super casual and it uses the same top as the first outfit. it's super comfortable and great for any day. My shorts are from American Eagle.

Those are all of the outfits for this first part. I hope you enjoyed and got some inspiration!
bye :)

Blogmas 2013: Day 19! Winter Nail Polish Favorites

I'm finally putting up my winter nail polish faves! I did this for fall, so I thought I would try it again for winter!
When I think of winter colors, I think of deep reds, purples, blues and other cool-ish tones. I have 6 polish that I absolutely love and plan to wear a ton this season. I've already used a few of these in my Mani Mondays, which you cans check out under the nails section of my blog!
I've got 3 China Glaze colors (all from the Meet Me Under the Mistletoe collection), 2 Sinful Colors, and 1 Essie polish!
I think all of these colors are super festive and great for the winter-time! China Glaze cost around $7, Sinful Colors about $2, and Essie polishes cost about $9.
I hope this gave you some nail-spiration ;) , see you tomorrow!
Bye! =)

Blogmas 2013:Day 9! Mani Monday

Hey guys!
It's Monday again which is one of my most hated days of the week. The weekend is over and now I have the whole week ahead of me. Anyways, to make Mondays a little more fun I love painting my nails, so here's another Mani Monday!
I found some new Sinful Colors polishes at Walgreens a while back an I picked one up that I thought would be perfect for the Holidays! It's from a collection called Glitz and Glittered and it's called Unwrap Me. It has hexagonal glitters in red and black and there are also some tiny-er black glitters in there too! I painted one coat over two coats of a cream color by China Glaze and the name was worn off.
I have to say, my nails match pretty well with the red berries on the tree! ;)
Speaking of the tree, I put it up on Saturday which was pretty exciting. It put me right in the Holiday spirit!
Well, that's it for today, I really hope you enjoyed and I'll see you tomorrow!
Bye! =)

Mani Monday

I was really in the mood to play around with some nail art so I did! I got the idea for a chevron style accent finger on Pinterest, where else. I then found a fairly easy tutorial on cutepolish's YouTube channel. and decided to try it out. Basically you paint nail polish on some clear tape and cut it into a chevron pattern using zig-zag scissors and apply the tape to your nails.

The pale pink is "East going" by Sinful Colors. The shimmer bronze is "Time to shine" by Sally Hansen X-treme wear. And last, the purple is "Amethyst" by Sinful Colors.
