July Empties/Favorites

So this month I was kind of running out of days so I decided to lump my empties and favorites together for July! I don't really have any beauty favorites. I've got lots to share today so lets hope right on in.

A lot of these products were old products that were old and I decided to just toss. Also, lots of these are repeats that I often finish during the month.

May/June Empties

I have a bit of a larger empties post this month since I didn't do one last! I guess I'll just get right into it!
THYMES ESSENTIALS MANDARIN LEAF BODY WASH
I picked this up on clearance at Target (Prior to its closing). It smells identical to mandarin oranges and worked pretty well. I would repurchase but that's not really an option any more! ;)

DOVE DRY SHAMPOO
Yet another bottle of this stuff that I've used up. I love it!

AUSSIE 3 MINUTE MIRACLE
I love this stuff but I can only get it in the State's. Luckily I still have one bottle left! It just makes my hair so soft.

LUSH TEA TREE WATER
This is one of my holy grail face products. it clears up my acne really nicely

NIVEA ESSENTIAL LIP BALM
This lip balm is ultra moisturizing, inexpensive and it smells/tastes great too!

HAND SANITIZER
Not sure the brand of this, all I remember was that I got it on clearance from the grocery store. it worked great for my vanity.

NEUTROGENA DEEP CLEAN CLEANSER
I have finally found my new favorite face wash. This lathers nicely and doesn't irritate my skin!

SECRET VANILLA DEODORANT
This smells good and lasts all day!

CREST 3D WHITE TOOTHPASTE
This doesn't really whiten my teeth at all so it's not really a favorite.

Empties ~ April 2015

I definitely didn't finish too many products for the month of April but I wanted to share anyways! I 'm always shocked as the months pass since I feel like time is going so fast!

First of all, I finished the Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Conditioner. I feel like it was pretty average. I really didn't like the scent, it was a bit too strong and strange and I would not repurchase.

I always repurchase the Live Clean clarifying shampoo. it works really well and I like to sue it once a week tor refresh my hair.

I also finished the Philosophy Sugar Plum Fairy body wash. At first I wasn't sure about it but them I began to love it. It felt really nice and it was a super unique scent.

Lastly, I used up two of my favorite lip balms by Nivea!

March empties ~ 2015

Time has been flying so fast lately for me. I feel as though if I blink, I may miss hours of my day. This has probably been due to all of the commotion in my life. I have been extremely busy lately and I've barely got time to process my own thoughts. I've been trying my best to get up some fair quality blog posts and I hope you've been enjoying them. Sorry for rambling so much, lets get on with it!

 The first thing I used up this month was another pack of the Kirkland wipes. This will be the last time I'll show them in my empties since I've said all I can say. I don't like them now that they have an added scent since it irritates my face and eyes!

I used up yet another Dove dry shampoo! This is my holy grail hair product.

I came to the end of the Neutrogena Extra Gentle Cleanser. It was okay but it felt a bit drying and I wouldn't repurchase.

I had been trying to use up some of my lotions so I finished the Delon+ Coconut body butter and The Body Shop mini vanilla one. I liked them both but I preferred the Delon+ one!

I had been at the end of my Maybelline FIT Me concealer and I finally finished it. I've already repurchased since I love it!

I ran out of the Nivea Nourishing Nigh cream and I already picked up another!

The L'Oreal nail stickers I used were a bit of a disaster. I did a Mani Monday on them if you want more info.

And lastly, I finished up another Crest Glide Floss, not really beauty but I thought I'd throw it in since I really like it!

 

Those are all of the products I finished up for this March. I was surprised at how full my empties bag as by the end!

I'd just like to say, it really helps to think about the present instead of wishing your days away. Focus on the good in everyday! Have an amazing last bit of March and I hope April is even better!

February Empties ~ 2015

I got so caught up in other things yesterday that I completely forgot to post this! February has been really busy for me and I can see the same happening for March. I planned to post my February favorites today so you might just get 2 posts in a day! ;)

Garnier Fructis Passion Splash Shampoo

 This shampoo worked fine for me but I could not stand the smell! I didn't want to waste it, so I used it all up, but I would not buy this again!

Kirkland Makeup Wipes

 I bought a huge package of these at Costco not realizing they became scented. These really irritated my eyes and I did not enjoy them. I would definitely not repurchase.

Secret Paris Deodorant

 I love this deodorant. it lasts really long and smells nice. I couldn't find it in the store so I chose another scent but I would repurchase this again!

Nivea Lip Butter

I love most Nivea skincare product including this one! It's super moisturizing and unscented. I would repurchase this for sure.

Elf Wet Gloss Lash & Brow Gel

 This is my favorite brow gel! It's only $1 and it holds shape all day long. I already have repurchased this and will continue to.

Oral-B Glide Floss

 I recently began flossing again. This doesn't have much to do with beauty but I really like this floss and would use it again!

Bumble & Bumble Hairdresser's Oil (Sample)

 I got this sample at Sephora quite a while ago and just recently finished it. it worked fine but was nothing special. I wouldn't feel the need to buy it.

Gilette Satin Care Ultra Sensitive Shaving Gel (Mini)

All shaving creams seem pretty much the same to me. I enjoyed this but it was nothing special. I've already picked up a cheaper alternative.

Delon+ Coconut Body Butter

 I love this lotion. I use it daily and it smells great! I would definitely repurchase if I could get my hands on it.

January Empties ~ 2015

It's not very motivating when you look into your empties pile and only see a few products. This month I looked at my pile and was pleasantly surprised! I found a lot of products that I had finished in January and became even more motivated to post this! I know I do empties every month but some of them are more boring than others. This one is a bit more exciting than most and I hope you enjoy!

Starting with body products.

I finished up the last bit of my Nivea Shower Cream. It smelled really fruity and fresh and I enjoyed it while it lasted. I don;t usually repurchase body washes, but I could see myself trying this again in the future. 

After only a little over a month, I finished the Vanilla Bean Noel shea body cream. it smells really good but doesn't last long at all.

I used up the KP duty body scrub sample. It worked fine but I obviously don't know much about it since it was 1 use. Probably wouldn't repurchase.

Sadly, my cake hand cream is finished! This hand cream felt really nice and not too heavy. I really enjoyed it but it's a bit pricey so I'm not likely to repurchase.

Moving on to hair, I finished up a small bottle of the L'Oreal Elnett Hairspray. This is my favorite hairspray ever!

I also used up the Aussie 3 minute miracle. I already stocked up and am using it again!

I used the very last bit of my Covergirl 3 in 1 foundation. I am in love with this foundation and will definitely repurchase it.

Lastly, I finished 2 small packages of Kirkland makeup wipes. I'm really sad because I repurchased them, and they now have a scent which irritates my eyes.

Blogmas 2014: Day 29 ~ Decmeber empties

I can't believe I completely forgot to post yesterday, so I apologize about that. Anyways, today I'm doing my December empties, the last one of 2014! I didn't finish up too many products this month. Of course shortly after I took the photos, I finished a few more things!

Aussie Volume Conditioner 
This was a fairly average conditioner. I didn't notice much added volume however my hair also wasn't weighed down by it.

Nivea Essential Lip Balm
 I love this lip balm and could never say enough good things about it!

E.l.f. Essential Eye Primer
This eye primer works fairly well especially for $1! I would definitely repurchase again.

Lancome Hypnose Drama Mascara (sample)
I love this mascara and my full sized is almost done! It gives so much volume and fullness!


Sheseido Perfect Mascara Full Definition (sample)
I finished this quite a while ago and forgot to throw it out! I remember it worked fairly well.
 
Cresdt 3D White Glamorous White Toothepaste
 I honestly don't notice much difference with the color of my teeth. I think I need something a bit stronger for whitening.

Dermal Royal Jelly Mask
I enjoyed all of the Dermal masks and haven't noticed too much difference between them all.

Kirkland Makeup Wipes
These are in every empties. They're so inexpensive so I can't see myself stopping using them.

November empties 2014

It's that time of the month again... Empties time! I don't have too many products to show you from November. Surprisingly I didn't finish makeup wipes this month for once! Anyways, the months of these year have been flying by and I must say, while I'm very excited for December, I'm sad to see them go! I hope you enjoy and have a great last few days of November!

Secret Deodorant: Paris

I really love the scent of this deodorant and I've already repurchased it. It's the longest lasting deodorant I've ever tried.

Dove Dry Shampoo

Nothing much to say about this that I haven't already said. I love this stuff!

Nivea Mattifying Day Cream 

I did enjoy this while it lasted and I can see myself going back to it. 

TRESemme Heat Tamer Spray

I finished this a while ago and went to use it recently to find it was empty. I have a hard time reviewing thermal protectors since I can't really tell when they work. 

Lush Tea Tree Water

 I love this toner! It works so well and keeps my acne at bay. I'm lost without it.

Vaseline

I already repurchase another one of these. It's the perfect size and much easier to dispense.

October empties 2014

It's come to the end of the month again and I cannot believe October went by that fast! I didn't finish up too many products but I used up a few. Here's my October empties!

Kirkland Makeup Wipes: I don't think I need to say much about these!

Tone Mango Splash Body Wash: This smells divine and it's my second bottle! I would definitely recommend/repurchase! 

ONYX Acetone: This removes my nail polish so quickly I always repurchase it!

Olay Satin Care Shaving Gel: This doesn't dry out my legs and gives a clean shave. This is also my third or fourth bottle!

Nivea Essential Lip Balm: I actually finished two of these andf have already repucrchased!

MUFE HD Primer sample: This worked very well although it only gave me 1 or 2 uses!

Monthly empties ~ September 2014

Time is flying and September came and went so fast! Anyways, with the end of the month comes my empties! I actually finished quite a few different things this month so it should be a bit more interesting.

Herbal Essences Hydra-licious volume boost shampoo: This smells so good and I actually noticed my hair to be a bit less flat!

Aveeno pure renewal conditioner: This smoothed my hair and was a fairly average conditioner!

Dove dry shampoo: This is, as I've said, my favorite dry shampoo and I will always repurchase!

Neutrogena naturals cleanser: This wasn't my favorite but it worked alright. Probably won't repurchase.

DIY BB cream: I made my own BB cream and it worked alright but not the best!

Kirkland makeup wipes: I always use these because they're cheap!

Colgate Winterfresh toothpaste: This tastes so good! I love it!

Simple makeup wipes: I really like these since they're thin and not too wet!

Crest 3D white glamorous white: I noticed a bit of a difference with this toothpaste but my teeth still aren't completely white. I did repurchase though.

August empties

I only finished a few products this month. Most of them are fairly boring so I apologize for the shortness of this. I have a huge favorites post coming soon to make up for that! 

Dove unscented deodorant: This doesn't last long or wear well. I've actually moved on to something I like much better!

Aveeno pure renewal shampoo: I really enjoyed and would use it again! It's closer to $10, but it works well!

Live Clean clarifying shampoo: I love this stuff and have already repurchased! It smells amazing and isn't heavy.

Nivea nourishing day cream: This works great and is very thick and moisturzing.

Elizabeth Arden beautiful color mascara: This was dry and hard to remove. It also clumped, didn't like it.

Kirkland makeup wipes: These are in every empties so I don't have much to say.

July empties 2014

These last few days of July have been super busy for me. I nearly forgot about my July empties and luckily I remembered just in time. It's super hot and I'm very tired, but I'm hoping this post isn't too out of the ordinary. enjoy!

I didn't enjoy this Gosh hair mask. The scent wasn't nice and it didn't do much for my hair. Would not repurchase.

I love the Rusk cream detangler! I apply it to wet hair and it removes knots and makes if effortless to brush through. I would and have repurchased although I'm having trouble finding it.

I finished the Tone mango body wash and it smells divine! I really love it and have already repurchased!

I don't think this counts as an empty but my loofah was falling apart so I bought a new one. This one's from the Body Shop if you care.

I finished yet another package of makeup wipes.

I also finished my elf daily brush cleanser and already have a new one on the go.

And I also used up a sample of UD Eden primer potion. It lasted quite some time!

June Empties & Mini Haul

Hello Everyone!
Today isn't the nicest of days so it seemed only right to cuddle up and work on my blog! I've been a bit lazy in the past year with my blog theme. It's a huge project and I just haven't found the strength to do it. If any of you have suggestions for my blog theme I would be more than happy to take a look! I'm hoping I can work with it a bit over the summer.

Anyways, today's post is going to be my June empties and a mini haul of things I picked up throughout the month. Nothing too excited, mostly just some basic but I thought I'd pop it in there anyways!

As you can see, everything is mostly bottles of bath & body products! I've put myself on a spending ban as of lately in order to save a bit for my up coming vacation! I can't wait to tell you all about it!

Starting with EMPTIES!

I finished up some shampoo and conditioner both by Herbal Essences. The shampoo is Honey, I'm Strong Strengthening Shampoo. This smelled nice and lathered well and I'm usually pretty happy with Herbal Essences' hair care. The conditioner is  Body Envy Volumizing Conditioner. This didn't do much, volume wise for my hair but again it smelled nice and was fairly average. I also finished another Dove Dry Shampoo as it's an essential for me!

I used up a can of Satin care Olay Shaving Gel for Sensitive skin. This works well and leaves my legs very smooth! Oddly enough, I finally came to the end of my Bath & Body Works Vanilla Bean Noel body lotion! It smells great and isn't my favorite lotion but it not bad either. And I also finished another Dove deodorant.

Of course I finished another package of makeup wipes, as always! I also used up the Lush Brazened Honey fresh face mask. Me and my Mother didn't really like this (we both used it). I didn't enjoy the smell and the consistency was very chunky and odd. And lastly, I used up the Clarins Wonder Perfect mascara. I really loved this and I'm sad to see it go!

Moving onto my MINI HAUL!

I picked up some new hair products. I tried the Aveeno Pure Renewal shampoo and conditioner and another Dove Dry Shampoo!

I also grabbed a new Vaseline cocoa radiant body lotion. This is my absolute favorite and I love the pump! I'm running out of body wash so I decided to try the Be Delectable Strawberry and Cream body wash. And I also picked up the same shave gel.

Lastly, I got a new mascara. I heard the miss manga mascara from L'Oreal was good so I decided to give it a go!

That's it! As you can see, I basically repurchased everything I ran out of this month!

May Empties ~ 2014!

I completely lost track fo time and wasn't able to post on Monday or Tuesday! Sorry about that. Anyways, I'm back now with my May empties. I don't have very many but I thought I'd do it anyways. Enjoy, xx!

First off, hair products! I sadly finished the eva nyc shampoo. This smells amazing and it worked pretty well. I probably won't repurchase since it's fairly expensive. I also finished the TRESemmé conditioner which worked pretty well while it lasted.

I finished a smaller sized Colgate toothpaste. I prefer winter fresh but this is good too! I also used up a nivea lip balm and I haven't gotten around to repurchasing.
I got a Stay Matte foundation sample in a magazine and it surprisingly matched my color! it's very full coverage and a little cakey but I like it!

I was so sad to finish my favorite face wash that was discontinued. This works so good and I can't get it any more :( I tried a new face wash and I don't like it. I also finished up a full sized and a mini package of makeup wipes.

April Empties! ~ 2014

Hey!
I'm back with another empties post today! I've been collecting since the start of April and I've collected quite a lot within just 1 month. Without further a due, lets get started!

 First of all, I finishes a few hair products. I finished the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shampoo. it wasn't anything special, but it lathered really well and I enjoyed it while it lasted!

I finished another Dove Dry Shampoo. This is my all time favorite dry shampoo and I will continue to repurchase!

I finished 3 eva nyc products and I actually have a full review on them!

 I also finished a few body-ish products. I tired the Dove pomegranate body wash and did not like it. It was fairly moisturizing but the scent was pretty awful (to me at least)!

I finished 2 Be Delectable mini body washes (coconut & vanilla) and I really enjoyed them.

I also finished up another Dove deodorant which is alright but I think I need to find a better one.

And I finished my favorite toothpaste, Colgate Winterfresh!

Lastly a few makeup products!
I finished 3 packages (2 travel sized) of the Kirkland makeup wipes and I love them!

I also used up the Rocket mascara by Maybelline and it gave a lot of length and volume

And lastly, I finished the ELF brow gel which I love but can't find it in my city :(

2014 Empties #1!

Hey There!

I've been collecting my empty products since January and my bag is overflowing! I've finished so many products in the past couple months and I haven't done an empties post in quite a while so I thought I'd try it again! There are quite a few products so this might be a long post. For easy reading, I've split them up into 3 categories:

 First category is face makeup!
I've finished quite a few foundations lately, and the reason for that, is that they've been nearly empty for so long now and I finally decided to finish them off.  
I really liked all of theses products and the ones I would most likely repurchase are the 3 on the right. 
These are all fairly light coverage products, the highest coverage of them all is the NYC foundation and the Revlon foundation. I probably wouldn't go back to the NYC foundation because the lightest shade was a bit dark for me and the formula was nothing special. The Nearly Naked foundation was good but not amazing, and I really liked the stick foundation by Maybelline!
The BB cream was alright and the concealer is great for under the eyes!

Next up, miscellaneous Makeup!
I really loved the elf brow gel, it held my brows in place all day. The mascara worked great for me two, it gave a lot of volume. I liked the Baby Lips and the Nivea lip balms but the eos wasn't my favorite and I wouldn't repurchase that one. I loved the color tattoo in Barely Branded but it dried up on me so I need to buy a new one!

Shampoo & Conditioners
I really enjoyed the Marc Anthony Shampoo. I found this massive bottle in a set at Cosco for a great deal. I always switch up my shampoos and conditioners so I probably wouldn't repurchase any of these very soon. The Dove and Baléa conditioners were alright and I really enjoyed the L'Oreal hair mask!

I love all of the products. This is about he 3rd bottle of Rusk cream detangler I've finished. It works so well to detangle wet hair. I can honestly say I would (and probably will) repurchase all of these!

Now for some shower products!
I enjoyed the St.Ives body wash but I wouldn't repurchase as it was a bit boring. There wasn't much scent but it was moisturizing.
This was my second bottle of this shave gel and I really like it so it's definably going no my repurchase list! 
The Carried away body wash had a much too strong scent so I won't repurchase, and I really enjoyed the Raspberry&Blackberry body wash!

May Empties #2

 So as I said, I'm doing another empties post today! This is empties #2.

Most of the products were bought when I used to purchase fairly cheap brands.

I finished 2 mascaras. The Maybelline one by one and Bonne Bell mascara in denim. Last year I decided I wanted blue mascara for no reason. It wasn't my favorite. I really liked the one by one, it gives natural full lashes!

I completely finished my nyc smooth skin powder in translucent.

This wasn't my favorite. There was no color pay-off (which I expected) and it didn't totally "mattify" my face.

I finished the elf eyelid primer which I didn't like. I think it was just the one I got because it dried up very fast.

I also used up the nyc brow/eyeliner pencil in black. It was okay, not the best pencil liner.

And one of my favorite eyeshadows, Rimmel London in 102 backstage.

I've already repurchased this since it's not very usable. It's super pigmented and long lasting.

May Empties #1

Hey everyone! 

So I have been collecting my empty products for a few months now so I thought I'd share.

I'll do one or two empties posts a week since there are way too many to feature in one post.

Today I'll show you the hair products I've used up, and I talk a little bit about what I thought of them.

First things I finished were my John Frieda brilliant brunette lustrous touch shampoo and conditioner. I found the shampoo didn't lather very well and it felt very drying. As for the conditioner, It didn't really do anything for my hair. These were a bit more expensive (and only 250 ml) than most drugstore hair products and I will not repurchase these.

I completely finished the dove dry shampoo. I find this did a great job of soaking up oil and adding volume. This left little white residue although it did leave some. I would repurchase this and it's around $5.

The last hair product I finished was the ion deep repair hair treatment. I actually finished 2 packages. I bought this a Sally beauty supply for only about $1. It worked okay, but it didn't really compare to my tresemme hair mask. I most likely wouldn't repurchase this.
