L'Oreal Infallible Makeup Extender

A while back I made a bit of an impulse buy on this setting spray. I didn't really need it or anything, but it was on sale for $15 (still pricey for drugstore) and it had kind of caught my attention. There really aren't many, if any other setting sprays at the drugstore. L'Oreal is usually fairly reliable so I picked it up. I used a few times a week, but it hasn't really come one of my daily holy grails.
The packaging is fairly average. It's nicely matte and simple. All it really claims is that is extends the lasting power of your makeup. The little diagram on the back explaining the texture, action and use makes it seem like there are more products with different texture/action/use however I haven't seen any.
When I first used this, I think I held it much too close to my face since my face was dripping wet. After a while, I got the hang of it. I usually apply 3ish sprays not too close to my face. At first it appears dewy, then it dries to a normal finish.
I didn't notice a huge difference in my makeup lasting. I mean my makeup looked good, but it didn't really last a whole lot longer.

RATINGS:

Packaging: 7/10
Price: 6/10
Lasting power: 8/10
Would I repurchase?: Probably not
Would I recommend: Again, probably not
Overall: 7/10

That's about all I've got to say!

L'Oreal Miss Manga Mascara

Hello there! I've been using this new mascara for a while now and I thought it would have grown on me by now. I was surprised that I didn't really enjoy it as all of the reviews I have read have been positive. Anyways I've tried it out and I thought I'd do a review myself!

The packaging is definitely on point! It's super fun, bright and eye catching. I love the idea of the product!

The brush has bristles of different length and is tapered. There is a joint on the want that allows for flexibility, giving a bit of a bounce when applied. It's a very unique brush and it's fairly easy to use.

It seemed to clump my lashes together, making it appear as if I only had 5 lashes. I could tell it was meant to give voluminous, flared lashes but it kind of failed to do that for me. It added length and a bit of volume, but I noticed myself brushing through my lashes with a clean lash comb to try to separate my lashes. After the whole process my lashes would look decent. I like when you can apply mascara and go!

Price: 7/10 ($9)
Volume: 6/10
Length: 8/10
Lasting power: 10/10 I didn't notice and flaking or smudging
Would I repurchase?: Probably not
Would I recommend?: nah

I hope this was helpful! Let me know your experience with this mascara!

Tan For Less ~ My Affordable Self-Tanning Routine!

Hello everyone!
With summer coming up, I've been longing for some color to my skin. I have trouble sun-tanning, as I usually burn before I tan so I've resorted to fake tanning. I don't do anything crazy, but I do have a light and affordable tanning routine to share. I don't do this by a schedule, I just pop in it when I have the time. All of the products I use are drugstore and the combined cost of them all is only around $20-$25! That's less than the cost of 1 high end product! I hope this is helpful!

I like to switch it up but I usual gravitate towards my Jergens gradual tanner because it's easy!
I've got here a gradual tanner, a self-tanning lotion, and a bronzer. This is pretty much all I use to stay bronzed in the summer!

The Jergens is colorless and odorless which is great and mess free! For me, if I use it for 4 days in a row I start to notice a difference. It looks very natural and it gives just a slight deepness to your skin. It's also very moisturizing which is great!
Around $8-$10

The L'Oreal Sublime Bronze is a dark brown lotion with a ton of shimmer in it. It does have a strong scent but it fades. After 30 minutes of applying I notice a beautiful bronze glow to my skin. I only tan my legs .
Around $10

The NYC Sunny Bronzer is only $3 and gives a little color to your face. I'm too scared to self-tan my face so I only go as far as bronzer.

MY ROUTINE

For self-tanning lotion:
I shave my legs the day before tanning so that the lotion doesn't seep into my pores as much.
I shower and exfoliate my legs with an exfoliating glove. I especially focus on the knees and ankles.
I let my skin completely dry and apply lotion to my knees and ankles to help prevent streaks.
I apply the lotion to my  shins first, making sure to blend it in all the way and only applying a little bit on knees and ankles.
I then apply the lotion on my thighs, again blending it in completely.
Make sure to wash your hands really well after!
I also choose to wear shorts I don't care about so that I don't stain anything!
For gradual tanner:
This method is a little more laid back!
All I do is hop out of the shower and apply the lotion all over my legs, going lightly over knees and ankles.

That's about it! I do this every week or two and I'm not too picky about being tan in the summer!
Bye :)

L'Oreal Voluminous Mascara Review!

Hello everyone!
I'm doing a review of the L'Oreal Voluminous mascara today. This is my second tube of this and it's one of my favorites. It very affordable and easy to access!
I hope you enjoy!

You can find this at nearly any drugstore for around $6. I prefer the Carbon Black version because I like my lashes super dark.

The packaging is just classic and round with fairly neutral colors. The brush is kind of a typical mascara wand with bristles not plastic. I really like the brush as I feel it prevents clumps. The mascara is a fairly wet formula which I really enjoy, it makes it easier to build!
I wiggle the brush on my lashes and it gives an even coat with rarely any clumps. It doesn't flake off and it removes fairly easily. The finished look is long and voluminous with no clumps. I completely forgot to photograph my lashes!

OVERALL:

Lasting power: 10/10!
Price: 10/10
Volume: 8/10
Length: 9/10
Clumping (10:no clumps, 1:lots of clumps): 8/10
Would I repurchase?: Yes!
Would I recommend?: Definitely!
Overall: 9.5/10

Overall I love this mascara and will definitely continue to use it! I hope this review was helpful!
Bye =)

New L'Oreal Power Moisture hair mask

So I was shopping at target the other day (What's new?) and I came across this new hair mask as I was strolling down the hair isle. I've been scoping out a hair mask for quite a while as I've been slowly finishing my current mask. I love trying new products when I get the chance and it was even on sale! New products on sale are 10 times better than just new products. =)

This products doesn't actually claim to do much, other than moisturizing your hair and creating soft, silky locks. After trying this products for the first time, I noticed you don't need a lot of product to coat all of your hair. The scent is fairly pleasant, nothing like cake batter but it isn't unbearable. This product truly does leave your hair silky and smooth and it helps create healthy looking and feeling hair.

The color is actually mint green/blue but it most definitely doesn't transfer. Overall I would definitely continue to use and purchase this product especially at the glowing price of about $3.99
That's it for now, bye!
