March Favorites!

Hello Everyone!
I can't believe another month of 2014 has gone by. I've been feeling shocked as every month passes lately. March was a fairly good month for me, I focused a lot on trying to be positive and happier and I even started journaling. Anyways, without further a due, here's my March favorites!

I've been using the ELF Studio Endless Eyes Pro Mini Eyeshadow Palette. Wow, that's a mouthful!
It has a collection of 32 neutral eyeshadows and it's my go to for a light brown smokey eye!
This is currently on sale on the ELF website from $10 to $6!

I wore these adorable bow studs from Forever 21 a ton this month! They go with nearly anything and they're a great size. I found these for only $1.80 (STEAL!).

This has always been one of my favorite nail polish shades, but I fell in love with it this month. It's been a bit cold and dull here lately and this added a little color to my life!
It's Pacific Blue by Sally Hansen and it's only $3!

I didn't realize this photo was out of focus, so sorry about that. This is the Smashbox Eye Brightening mascara and it gave a really natural look which I was really into. I will be doing a full review on this when I finally get around to reviewing the lash box I got for Christmas.

The Dove dry shampoo is my absolute favorite dry shampoo and I can't seem to find it anywhere! I finished it this month (so sad), and it worked amazing! It's also only $4 at drugstores (If you can find it).

It's kind of odd that I'm loving a Christmas lotion in March, but nevertheless I've used this a ton!I actually transferred this into a bottle with a pump so I can dispense it easily. I use this at least 3 times a day!

I've been using the Lush tea tree toner every night and it's very refreshing. I actually recently did a review on this, check it out here!

My favorite "perfume" of the month is the Be Delectable Strawberry Cream Body mist. This smells so good and I get compliments every time I wear it! Look out for a review on this coming up in the future!

A random favorite I've got, are these Laceys macadamia & milk chocolate cookies from Costco. These taste so amazing and I was completely obsessed!

Thanks for reading & have a great day/night!

Baby Lips Dr. Rescue Review!

Hello Everyone!
I'm back with yet another review! This time, I'm reviewing the Maybelline Baby Lips Dr. Rescue collection. They aren't very new anymore, but they are fairly recent. I also don't have every color but I'll review what I do have. I found these at various places such as CVS & Target, but I'm seeing them nearly anywhere makeup is sold!
Enjoy!

I have Soothing Sorbet, Berry Soft, and Just Peachy.
Disclaimer: I did receive Soothing Sorbet as a Christmas gift.
The packaging is similar to original Baby Lips, the tube is white and the writing is similar to each shade.

From left to right: Soothing Sorbet, Berry Soft, Just Peachy.
Soothing Sorbet is a bright cherry red color with a hint of pink. Berry Soft is more of a mauve/purple /pink, It's very unique and hard to explain! Just Peachy is a peachy-nude. None of these have shimmer or glitters.

Left to right: Soothing Sorbet, Berry Soft, Just Peachy.
One thing I notice that is different from original Baby Lips is that the Dr. Rescue line doesn't have as much shine. They aren't quite matte but the shine does seem reduced.
As usual, they are sheer and offer a light wash of color. The most pigmented of the 3 in my opinion is Berry Soft
They also are a medicated lip balm, meaning they are supposed to give extra hydration. They do tingle on my lips and taste minty, but I didn't notice a difference in moisture.  These didn't do anything extravagant for my lips but they do offer a range of pretty colors. I have to say I prefer original Baby Lips because I don't love the tingling feeling.
These retail for around $4 at most drugstores.

I hope this was helpful!
Bye!

Mini Haul!

Hey there!
I've done a little bit of shopping lately so I thought I'd share a few thigns I've gotten. I actually plan on doing some more shopping soon, so I may have another haul coming up in the future!
Enjoy, xx

I've been looking for a clarifying shampoo to use at the end of the week recently and I picked up this one. It's the Live Clean apple cider clarifying shampoo. I've used it once and it smells great!

I couldn't find my usual Dove dry shampoo so I thought I'd try this one. I've used it a few times and I don't really like it. It makes my hair feel stiff and powdery.

I needed a new shaving cream since summer's coming up ;) I picked up the Gillette Sating Care with Olay and I really enjoy it.

Lastly, I finally found my shade in the Rimmel Stay Matte powder. I've heard great things about it and I've been in a need of a new face powder. I have to say it works really well! So far, I actually prefer it to my MAC powder!

I hope you enjoyed this haul, and if you want any review let me know!
Bye!

Simple Eye Make-Up Remover ~ Review

Hey there!
Today I have a quick review on the Simple make-up remover. I like the Simple brand because they have very gentle products and are great for sensitive skin. I don't use eye makeup remover often (I prefer wipes) but when I do, I use this one.

The formula is much less oily than your average makeup remover. It is similar to the consistency of water and it doesn't feel oily at all. It removes most of my eye makeup but sometimes I find traces of eyeliner and mascara. If it does get in your eye, it doesn't really sting which is great!

One of the downsides is the cap. It has a very small opening and the cap doesn't twist off. I can fit a cotton swab in there which would be useful. I'm considering transferring this to another container.
Overall, I think it's a great product and I would definitely recommend it. Also it's at the drugstore!

I hope you enjoyed, and I hope this was helpful, Bye!

Review: The Body Shop Blush!

Hey there, I'm back with another review for today!
I've been trying quite a few new blushes lately so I thought I'd share this one with you.

It's almost a mix between a blush and a highlighter. It's very shimmery and there are two shades. One is a bright rosey pink and the other is a pale coral. They swirl together to create a natural looking flush.

It's in the shade coral and I actually found it on clearance for $2 marked down from $22. I'm always up for a good bargain!
This applies really well and is really easy to blend out. It looks like you just came out of the cold which is good if that's what you're going for. It's fairly pigmented and it lasts for a while. The shimmer isn't overpowering and it gives a nice glow. I do really like this and would definitely consider trying other shades.
I hope this helped some of you!
Bye!

Products I Regret Buying

Hey Guys!
So, normally I'm not a fan of writing (and reading) negative blog posts, but I also think it's good to show a different side of things and talk about the products that didn't work. So that's what I'm going to do!
I'd like to start of by saying, I'm not trying to put down these brands or products I'm just sharing my honest opinions. Also some of these products that don't work for me may work for others so I hope this doesn't offend you! :)
Enjoy
xx

First for hair, I have the TRESemmé Dry Shampoo. This kind of smelled like bug spray which was very unappealing. This did not soak up any oils, if anythings I found it added oillyness. I much prefer the Dove dry shampoo.
I tried the Live Clean argan oil and found it to be very sticky. It didn't leave my hair very soft and I noticed no difference.

I tried the sweet pea lotion from Bath & Body Works and I found the scent to be much too strong, it's just not my type. The lotion worked well though!
The White citrus body spray is definitely not my favorite smell. I have no idea why I bought it.
The Bubblegum lip scrub from lush did nothing for my dry lips and it was overpriced at $10, although it smells amazing!

I've got a few makeup items.
First is the elf holiday palette. The shadows were chalky and had little pigmentation. They didn't last long and the glitter was flaky.
For the Rimmel quad, the pigmentation was barely there and they didn't show up very well.
As for the Maybelline eyeshadow in Lilac, it was very sheer and didn't last long.
The elf jumbo eyeshadow stick applies very sheer and it last for less than 30 minutes! I like the fact that it twists up but it doesn't stay. You can easily smudge it away.

The Covergirl BB cream gave no coverage of any sort. It barely blurred my face and it didn't cover anything.
Lastly, the Stila Lip Glazes were extremely sticky and they twist out way too much product.

I hope this was helpful & Thanks for reading!

Eva nyc Get up and Go-Hair Care Travel Kit ~ Review!

Hello!
I bought this Eva NYC travel hair set on clearance at Urban Outfitters for only $4.99!
Am I the only one who knows they don't need any more hair products, but just can't pass up a great deal? Yeah, that's me whenever I shop ;)
I had never heard about the brand before so I was super excited to try it out. I've been using the products for over a month now and I really like them!

This kit comes with a travel sized shampoo, conditioner, hair mask, hair oil, and travel case. The case is actually a medium sized bag and I can't wait to use it as a makeup bag in the future!

The shampoo contains 100mL. It gave me about 7-10 uses, keep in mind I have long thick hair and I use a lot of shampoo! I really liked the shampoo. For some reason, I expected it to not lather well but I was wrong. It lathered really well and and nourished my hair. It did not leave my hair feeling dry or stripped. I have actually already purchased the full sized because I liked it so much! By the way, all of the products smell amazing, I can't even explain it!

The conditioner was good too, but it didn't stand out as much as the shampoo. It was pretty average but still good while it lasted! If it was cheaper, I would consider repurchasing, but I can find something just as good at the drugstore. It left my hair feeling really soft!

The hair mask was great! It detangled my hair and added tons of moisture. It was fairly thick and it also left my hair feeling silky smooth. I would totally recommend this product!

Finally for the hair oil! This is one of my favorite argan oils I have ever tried. I've tried quite a few, and this helped my hair the most. It left my hair very smooth and shiny without leaving it greasy.
I would recommend this for sure!

I hope these reviews were somewhat helpful! Bye!

Review: Dermal Sheet Masks!

Hello Everybody!
I have a little bit of a different post for today. I'm going to be reviewing the Dermal Korea facial sheet masks. I found these at T & T Supermarket for only $1.09 each! I picked up 5 kinds since they were so affordable.

I like the packaging of these, it's very bright and colorful. It comes with 1 sheet mask in each package and there are tons of different kinds. I picked up a few that looked good to me!
I've only tried the Cucumber and Vitamin masks, but they are all fairly similar so I think I've developed my full opinion on them. Each mask has 3 specific benefits.

I'm really excited to try the green tea mask. This mask is for firming, moisturizing, and health.

I've already tried cucumber and it has a cooling affect. It smells just like cucumber and it leaves my face feeling really refreshed. This mask is for convergence, moisturizing, and soothing.

I'm probably most excited for the pearl mask, It sounds super luxurious! This mask is for moisturizing, convergence, and brightening.

I really like the Vitamin mask too.  It also had a cooling affect and I feel like it gave my skin and fresh feel. This mask if for brightening, firming, and refining.

The last mask is Royal Jelly, which I had no idea what that was until I researched it. I believe it's used in the nutrition of honey bee larvae, correct me if I'm wrong. This is the most unique mask I got, but I'll definitely give it a try! This mask is for nutrition, moisturizing, and refining.

Overall I really like this masks! I gently press the sheet mask onto my skin, and leave it on for about 10 minutes. When I peel it off, I rub in the remaining gel from the mask. These are very cooling and refreshing, and I imagine they will be amazing for the summertime!
I would definitely recommend these if you can get your hands on them!
Here's a link to the Dermal online shop if your interested!
I hope you enjoyed, bye!
