Blogmas! 2013

I have a special announcement, which you probably already know form the title, but this December I'm doing Blogmas! Is that a thing?
Since I don't have a YouTube channel I can't do vlogmas (videos every day of December) so I thought I would try Blogmas. After searching it up I realized it was a "thing". Well, kind of. I found a few blogs that had done it last year and that gave me even more inspiration to do it!

Starting tomorrow, December 1st, I will be posting a blog post every single day of the month (well trying to anyways)! I think typically, people only post up until Christmas (December 25), but I'm going to try to go 'till the end of the month! I can't guarantee a post will be up every single day, as things may come up, but I will try my very best to post as often as possible.
Since I haven't been posting very often lately, I thought this would give me a chance to make up for that. I will be doing various posts from reviews, to routines, and maybe even some Christmas themed ones!

This is a big commitment for me but I am very excited to try it out!

Again, there is no guarantee I will get a post up every day, but I will try my best! =)
My first post will be up tomorrow.
Bye!

Here's a sneak peak of tomorrow's post!

Elf Haul!

Hello everyone! Today I'm bringing you an elf haul! I picked up quite a few elf products while I had the chance and I'm really excited to try them out.

First of all, I got 7 products from the essentials line, which each cost $1.
I've been in need of an eyelid primer for quite some time, and I've heard great things about this one so I gave it a try. I also got a black eyeliner,  clear mascara and brow gel and a shimmering facial whip. I got a pair of false lashes because I've actually never tried any. I'm really excited to try them out and it's great that they come with glue! I picked up a new eyelash curler and a blending brush to try out.

These next 2 products are also from the essentials line, but these were $2 each. I got a jumbo eyeshadow stick in "Rock Out" (it was the last one!) and I was so happy to see that it twists up (much easier than sharpening). Also, I got a flawless eyeshadow quad in "Happy Hour".

I picked up 1 thing from the holiday gift sets and it's the 6 piece eyeshadow compact. The colors are super pretty and so is the packaging. It only cost $3!

And finally I picked up a few pieces from their studio line.
I got a backup of the daily brush cleanser, because I like to spot-clean my brushes daily. Speaking of brushes I got a small stippling brush which is perfect for blending concealer. Next I got 2 cheek products. The first is just a blush. there wasn't much shade selection so I went with "Tickled Pink".
I also got the contouring blush and bronzer kit. At the time, I had no idea there were different shades so I just picked a random one and ended up with "St. Lucia". I probably would have chosen "Antigua" now that I've looked on the website, but "St. Lucia" is pretty too!

That's all I got!
I will most likely end up doing in-depth review of some of these products. Let me know which ones you'd like to see, Bye!

Disclaimer:
I apologize for the quality of these photos. I'm trying to figure the perfect lighting and background for my blog. Also the resolution got messed up during transferring.

10 products I would repurchase! (if all of my makeup disappeared)

I've seen a few blog posts similar to this so I thought I'd try it for myself. Basically you talk about the 10 products you would repurchase first, if all of your makeup was stolen or disappeared, etc.
I would definitely repurchase my Maybelline fit me stick foundation. It is so easy to apply and it gives great light-medium coverage. (I have a review on it here). Next to cover up any blemishes or dark circles, I would pick up the Hard Candy Glamoflauge concealer. This covers everything from acne to discoloration. To set my face makeup, I would repurchase my favorite powder: Mac's select sheer pressed powder. It gives a sheer matte color to your face and perfectly sets any foundation. My favorite blush is Peach By Nyx. This would definitely be on my list to buy. I love the elf eyeshadow "palette" by elf, in the shade natural. This gives you multiple looks in one compact palette, and the colors have awesome pigmentation! As you can see I have hit pan on of few of these products from continuous use!
The Maybelline color tattoo in the shade barely branded is a must-have in any makeup bag! It can be worn on its own for a natural shimmer, or under shadows to make them pop vibrantly. I already have a review on this, which goes into more detail. Click here to view. One of my favorite eyeliners is by essence and it retails for only $3-4! It gives easy and fast application with a flawless line. Next I have two lip products that compliment each other perfectly! First is the Maybelline color whisper in pink possibilities. This sheer pink lipstick goes great with almost any eye look. It looks even better with a quick swipe of Nyx's lip gloss in gold mauve. One of my favorite mascaras is the Voluminous carbon black mascara by L'Oreal. It gives great volume while lengthening at the same time.

I have mentioned many of these products on monthly favorites and other posts! I hope you enjoyed 10 or my favorite products that I would repurchase. Talk to you later, Bye!
