Maybelline baked eyeshadow duo: Bronze Blowout

I always love a good makeup bargain so when I saw this eyeshadow on sale for $2.44, I naturally had to buy it. As far as I know, this product isn't very new at all. I believe it actually came out sometime in 2009! I felt like I didn't have anything like this shimmery, neutral, baked eyeshadow. (Although I most-likely do have something like this).

Both of the shades are noticably shimmery. The color on the left is a chocolate brown with gold shimmer. The color on the right is a beige/champagne with burgundy streaks and a gold shimmer.

The pigmentation of this eyeshadow is better than I expected. It isn't spectacular but the shadows are fairly pigmented and they show up really well.

The two swatches on the left are each color on their own, and the watch on the right is the mix of the two. The color go very well when they're mixed, it creates a light brown, taupe color which is less harsh than the brown and more bold than the champagne.

The packaging isn't huge, but it's larger than most drugstore eyeshadow probably because the shadow is raised almost like a dome. it still fits nicely in the palm of my hand!

You can probably get this at most drugstore for about $8 full price. Keep your eyes out for good sales like mine! Bye for now!!

No7 lipstick

I haven't posted in a long time. I was on vacation the past week and I didn't have time to upload.
While I was on vacation I went into Shopper's drug mart quickly and found this in the $3 bin.
I hadn't heard much about No7 cosmetics and I wanted to try it out. I think that it's a British brand sold at boots. (I'm not positive). The lipsticks cost about £9.50 which is about $15 CA and about $14.50 US. I read a few reviews when I got home and most of them were positive saying it was creamy and opaque as well as long lasting.
75 Gay Geranium
The color is definitely a coral with red and orange tones. The swatch applied very evenly and it felt very creamy.
Natural lighting
The first thing I noticed was the the lipstick was extremely opaque! It feels very creamy and moisturizing and the color is quite bold.
I took a picture with flash and one without. I find the photo with flash shows the true the color much better. As for lasting power? I can't say much because I didn't wear it all day.
Overall I was very impressed and I would give it an 8.5/10.
That's all for today, bye!

NYC Smooth Skin bronzer in Sunny

Sorry I haven't posted in quite a while.
Today I have a little bit of a "review" (well a mini review) of the NYC bronzer in Sunny.
This bronzer is highly hyped, and talked about among blogs and YouTube. I'm very glad I purchased this because I do feel it's worth the hype!
The bronzer has no shimmer to it looks very natural. It adds a nice contour to the cheeks but it can also make your whole face look very tanned. The color is not muddy, and again it looks fairly natural.
I'd say the best part it the price! It's only $2.99 at most drugstores, (walmart, target, cvs...)
This is a product I will defiantly repurchase and continue to use.
